We believe that the water the cows are enjoying is coming from the River Wey. The original artwork in this print was created by Myles Birket Foster (1825 1899). Foster was an English watercolor artist and illustrator. He was born in North Shields, England, to a Quaker family. Foster was apprenticed to a wood engraver named
